The science fiction film has been described as being like ‘a shared dream...a mythic representation of universal concerns and fears’, suggesting that the narrative of many science fiction films follow patterns that audiences are familiar with based on ancient myths and legends found in cultures and societies all over the world.
Film Noir is the name now given to a group of films made in Hollywood in the 1940s and 1950s.

Blade arms himself for a raid on Frost's base, taking along with him specially-designed pneumatic syringes loaded with EDTA (normally used as a blood thinner to clear blood clots in the heart, which has a highly volatile reaction to vampire blood).
Blade refuses, because "curing" him of his need for blood would also remove his Daywalker powers and he would be unable to hunt vampires, and requests for her to make him a better serum, reminding her that "there's still a war going on".

Blade film review In Film Australia
Blade revolves around the idea that vampires have inhabited the earth for centuries, concealing themselves and remaining unknown to the rest of the human world.
At the beginning of the film, we learn that a pregnant woman has been bitten by a vampire, and supposedly dies, while having her baby removed by incision.
Perhaps the reason that Blade surprisingly leaves a lasting impression on the viewer is that it masks its absurd plot with such overdone action that we do not once consider the story behind it.

 Blade Runner (1982)
Blade Runner (1982), rising director Ridley Scott's follow-up to his hit Alien (1979), is one of the most popular and influential science-fiction films of all time - and it has become an enduring cult classic favorite.
The film mixed in some western genre elements as well, and is thematically similar to the story in High Noon (1952) of a lone marshal facing four western outlaws.
The film is set in the industrial wasteland of Los Angeles in the year 2019, on an Earth that is in physical and psychological decay - without a trace of nature.

Blade, was always a secondary character in the Spider-Man books for me. I don't know much about him outside of his appearances in those books.
After the first film we cared about Blade, we felt bad for him and Whistler for their loss, and we sympathized with them in their fight to save the world.
The ending of the film especially, is fantastic and right back to what Blade has been all about and Wesley plays Blade with the same perfect flare that we've all come to expect.

 DVD Review:Blade
Blade, who was born right after his mother was bitten, is half human, half vampire.
Although this film is on the negative side in terms of this review, it's still the most successful comic book adaptation or genre film that I've seen in a while, with only "The Crow" being the better genre film in memory.
In fact, "Blade" was written by the same scripter that wrote "Dark City"."City", the film that came out early this year about a race of alien beings who watched over a group of humans on a far-off planet, wasn't terribly successful, but became a cult hit based on the strength of it's visuals and story.

Blade: Trinity is an orphaned project: abandoned by Del Toro once Hellboy got the go-ahead (and compare Hellboy to Blade: Trinity for a little perspective), now abandoned by the man, Snipes, most responsible for the unnatural life of his Wayfarer spawn.

The plot in Blade Runner has classic film noir components: the hero is assigned a mission of proportions he cannot really imagine, he meets a dangerous woman and falls in love with her and finally he realises he has been deceived by powerful people.

As seen in his prior films such as ‘Cronos’ and his first Studio film ‘Mimic’, Director Del Toro seems to want to reinvent the Vampire Slayer and creates a soup of genres that does not satiate the excitement level created in the first film.
The film has Blade leading a pack of Vampires that have been trained to capture the very man they are being lead by.
What is admirable about the film is the fact that Director Del Toro attempts at reinventing the Blade character and enjoys a healthy does of suspense and horror in the film.

When you turn on "Blade" in your CD player, you'll be catapulted right into the complications of Blade's birth suffered by his mother (right before the first dance club song plays) and then into a gunfight appearing later in the film in the vampire temple (they don't always sequence the tracks chronologically).
My favorite parts of this album are probably toward the end, where we hear almost all of the score involving the big vampire ritual in the temple---right before Blade shows up for the final confrontation and puts a stop to Donal Logue and his goonies, once and for all.

 UGO.com Film/TV - Blade: Trinity Review
So, as we all know, vampire exterminator Blade (Wesley Snipes), AKA The Daywalker, trounced the blood god, La Magra, then pummeled the Reapers and was looking to round out his repertoire of saving us, the ignorant and thankless human species, from them, the power-hungry human-snacking children of the night.
Of their ancestor, the vampires of today desire two things: that he help them destroy Blade and that he help them overcome their lethal intolerance to sunlight, for Dracula too is a Daywalker.
Confronted with the veritable PR campaign against his student, Whistler convinces Blade to accept outside help in the form of the Nightstalkers, a highly trained group of humans bent on beating the snot out of all bloodsuckers.

Director Ridley Scott's 1982 film Blade Runner is arguably the most famous and influential science fiction film ever made.
This film is rendered superior by the director's cut, thanks to the excising of extraneous narration and the grim yet more appropriate ending.
The film is great on every level: the poignant screenplay about man's futile quest for immortality; Scott's tremendous direction; the incredible, futuristic sets designed by Lawrence G. Paull, Syd Mead and others; the phenomenal special effects.
