Blair Atholl is a small town in Perthshire, Scotland.
One of its more interesting features is its castle, Blair Castle, which was the last castle in the British Isles to be besieged, during the 1745 Jacobite conflict.
The castle once belonged to the Duke of Atholl, who is now the only nobleman in the United Kingdom that is allowed to raise his own private army - the Atholl Highlanders.

Atholl complained to King Alexander III, got his land back, and incorporated the usurping tower into his own castle.
