Blak Twang a visité le Maroc du 23 au 30 mai 2004 et a eu l’occasion de collaborer avec le groupe local en vogue, H-Kayne.
Simultaneously known as Blak Twang, Taipanic and Tony Rotton, the latter alias is inspired by The Sex Pistols’ Johnny Rotten, whose rebellious anti-establishment attitude is reflected in Blak Twang's music.
Blak Twang's pedigree is second to none, with two classic albums under his belt (‘Dettwork South East’ and ’19 Long Time’), a MOBO award, and incendiary guest appearances on wax with both the Wu Tang and Talib Kweli, he's one of the most respected and influential figures in the UK scene.

Since long before he emerged on record in the late 1990s, Blak Twang had things on his mind, and a burning desire to say them over creative hip hop beats that he loves to create.
Part of this widespread appeal is easily explained the second you see a Blak Twang show: where other rap stars may offer a desultory plod through some loping beats, live performance has always been at the heart of what Tony is about, and his records have been made with playing them live in mind.
The forthcoming Blak Twang album ‘The Rotton Club’ is due for release on 4 April 2005.

Following a few whistles, Twang asks "Are you pleased to see me?" before launching into one of the best songs, as far as I can tell, to come from the rainy Isle in a long time.
The wordplay on here is phenomenal, and once again, Twang shines: "I'm half-human, half lyrics/ Half of these rappers are half gimmicks, with half their half-hearted hearts half in it/..." On 'Ain't Done 2 Bad', we get a chilled piano and laid-back chorus as Twang reflects on his life up to that point.
Twang is a fantastic MC - his lyrics are slick and stylish, and he can deal with thousands of topics effortlessly, moving from screaming "Get ready to Kik Off!" to MCing about corrupt politicians in the House of Lords on the apocalyptic 'Blood and Fire'.
