		Blake Fleming started drumming at age 8, and spent several years in fife and drumming corps, bagpipe bands, jazz bands, orchestras, etc. His first band was Dazzling Killmen, which he joined at age 15.
		Fleming has also recently composed and recorded soundtracks for several pieces by video artist Janet Biggs, which have been exhibited in museums and galleries in Miami, Charleston and Barcelona.
		Blake is proud to endorse Truth Drums, Meinl Cymbals, and Vic Firth Drumsticks.

		Drunken rowdies all crammed together, scream cathartically as the band explodes, the most masculine of men and women fainting, wobbling and bumping with passion and fear.
		Bassist Darin Gray, usually the center of attention with his cheeky smile, cartoon-like contorting and gymnastic leaps is a monster during these songs, constructing, along with drummer Blake Fleming, seamless rhythms so tight you could bounce a penny off of them.
		Drummer Blake Fleming would go on to form Laddio Bolocko, a Can meets Led Zeppelin quartet from New York, who have released records on their own label, Hungarian.

		Maybe it was his non-fro or lack of a hyphenated name, but Jon Theodore, longtime drummer for Latin prog rock act The Mars Volta, has left the band.
		Now, the earthy surnamed and mop-topped shadows of singer Cedric Bixler-Zavala, guitarist Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and bassist Pablo Hinojos-Gonzalez will fall upon new drummer Blake Fleming, who sat in the mighty Volta drum throne five years ago on some of the band's earliest demos.
		The band has covered quite a bit of territory since then, especially considering the pair of ginormous concept albums that waxed philosophical about getting suicide right (2003's De-Loused in the Comatorium) and a diary found by late bandmate Jeremy Ward (2005's Frances the Mute).
