Traders at the Blanchardstown centre in west Dublin are facing rent increases of at least 60 per cent when the next general review gets under way in the coming weeks.
Blanchardstown's success in enhancing its line up of tenants over the past year will be taken a stage further in the coming weeks when leading European fashion retailer H and M joins other top name traders.
Blanchardstown's management has apparently negotiated its first non-food profit sharing deal with H and M. Under the terms of its lease, H and M will pay Green either 80 per cent of the open market rent or 10 per cent of its turnover, whichever is the highest.

Andrew Glennon, 30, from Fortlawn Drive in Clonsilla, was sitting in his car when four men approached and shot him in the head and upper body.
The shooting happened at Huntstown Wood near Blanchardstown in the north-western outskirts of Dublin at around 4am this morning.
Mr Glennon, a suspected drug dealer, was taken to the James Connolly Memorial Hospital in Blanchardstown, where he died at 5.30am.

Blanchardstown is one of the three towns in Fingal according to FCC so I thought they might be moving more staff to the area.
As far as I was aware, the 17 storey hotel was for a site thats currently overgrown and derelict, near one of the outlying units that has atlantic homecare etc in it.
That clashes with the county development plan which still reserves either the 1975 DRRTS alignment for a DART spur from Porterstown to the Town Centre or the orbital metro (which according to PFC would run along roughly this alignment) running parallel to Blanchardstown road south.
