That snap of the all-conquering Blenheim RL side of 1953-54 I used here last week prompted one of those in the team, Jack Woods, to pick up the phone.
Now this picture is the Blenheim cricket squad and comes to me from Bernard Mellor of Hawthorne Cottage, Church Lane, Adel, who left Blenheim in 1952.
Bernard tells me he's not sure of all the names in the 1951 cricket team but reckons the line-up went: Back row, from left – Appleyard, Malcolm Hood, John Spencer, Keith Haire, unknown, unknown and Mr Dean the school head master.

The dimensions of both aircraft (Blenheim and Me-410) are the same (ofcourse not on the inch/cm).
Now that I see someone else using the Me-410 as Blenheim I think that after all I wasn't that wrong.
