		One of the things Blitzkid is known for is great vocals from a certain T.B. Monstrosity, who has an amazing melodic range without sounding whiny.
		Blitzkid have released some great albums, and i think this one is definetly there best work.

		In case you missed it the first time, here’s the reissue of Blitzkid’s 2003 Trace Of A Stranger album with one bonus song and different artwork (sharp eyed Neurosis fans may note that if you drop a little fire behind the statue you’ll have the “Enemy Of The Sun” cover).
		Blitzkid play early Misfits inspired horror punk but don’t quite have the knack at writing timeless classics like their inspiration.
		Unlike The Misfits, Blitzkid has several slower ballad type songs on here that all seem to ape that Green Day punk shuffle they made famous on the song “Longview”.

		Starting out like a bat out of hell that could gobble up Meatloaf and his puny bat in one venomous bite, Blitzkid takes off with doomsday ferocity, resurrecting the feel of old Danzig and Misfit records while paying homage to current acts such as AFI and Rancid.
		It's as if Blitzkid tried to record the entire album in a day and right about here, on track five, things start to fall apart.
		The loss of stamina seeps into the other musicians-the beat in the next few songs is slower, and suddenly the raucous punk band has turned into metal balladeers.

		Blitzkid play Horror-Punk like they invented the creepy little sub genera, bit in reality, that honour goes to the Misfits.
		Even though the band incorporates influences from other realms of punk, it is obvious that the main inspiration here is Danzig, and the 'fits.

		Blitzkid recently re-released this album through Horror High, I got it for Christmas, and I've listened to it at least twice a day since then.
		I know that Blitzkid like to use old horror movie images for their covers, I have no clue where it's from but Neurosis used an almost identical image for an album.
		I've had to look up lyrics for a lot of the songs and really, their lyrics are great, the problem is there's no lyrics in the book.

		The average person is going to react to a Blitzkid song negativelly.
		There's the typical Blitzkid sound, which is rooted in pop punk, and there's also Goth, thrash, Doowop, rockabilly and straight up rock n' roll.
		Then for a few months, I was in a stoner rock/doom/emo/punk sorta band called Ziklag Chase, then a new school punk band called Grape from late 95 to early 97.
