BlitzkriegCommander is a great piece of work that he can be truly proud of and it should be looked at by other firms selling book materials to our hobby as a classic example of how you can do it right.
There’s a good chance that internally at Wargames Journal we’ll be moving over to these rules as the de facto way we play BIG games.

Both sets of armour covered the centre and middle ‘flanks’ while the other infantry company were set up in a farm complex which was about mid board.
In essence the Germans had three companies of motorised infantry and appropriate support from tanks and the air force, as well as being able to pull in some artillery support.
A smile spread over his face as he spotted the KV1s sitting proudly on the hills, the smile came from the knowledge that the Germans had little to harm these beasts.

I had a look at the amendments and I have to say it had the opposite effect on me, it was a complete turn off.
Since I have enjoyed the BlitzKriegCommander variant, and the original rules I think I shall start there.
Both of these sets were intuitive to learn.

The rules posted for vMBB are in a weird format, not at all like the ones included in the game, so if it looks visually unappealing don't let it sway you away from it on that alone.

Two battles have been played so far, a British Breakthrough Attack followed by an Italian Counter-Attack.
