Fremont was contracting the Egyptian feast (organ sting!), so we are forced to have a scene that we may get to know her.
The other thing holding Blood Feast back is the economic necessity of Lewis being his own camera operator, and either he's not very good (sorry, guy) or the camera head on the tripod needed oiling severely.
The acting in Blood Feast is what makes the goings-on laughable and somewhat tolerable, but there is no denying that even today, the gore has a certain impact; there is a raw, primitive quality to the makeup that is affecting in a way that the super-slick gore effects of today are not.

Blood Feast - Digital Retribution DVD Review
From the get-go Blood Feast is cheap, nasty, poorly acted, barely technically adequate, and reveals more unencumbered flesh than I recall since first viewing it 20 years ago, but it's intentions are clear: this film is not to be taken seriously.
Cut to luminous blood red credits that drip over the top of a model of a sphinx, the first piece of tacky egyptology on display and the key to tracking down the culprit behind the body count of seven women that has accumulated in a two week period and completely baffled the local Police Department.
The sharp and super colourful transfer of Blood Feast is ideal preparation for the ferociously day-glo visuals of the Lewis biker entry She Devil on Wheels (coming soon from the fine folk at Siren Visual Entertainment).

BLOOD LUST's maiden studio effort surfaced in February of 1986 in the form of a four song demo tape entitled The Suicidal Missions.
It was the band's musical talent, determination, and electrifying live performances (which always ended with a blazing cover of the Celtic Frost classic "Into Crypts of Rays") that gave them the recognition they deserved, not to mention their strong underground BUZZ and many favorable reviews in magazines and fanzines worldwide.
In June of 1988, BLOOD FEAST found themselves back in the studio to record a ten song demo, this time as a quartet, as Adam Tranquili was asked to leave the band.

Basically, Blood Feast is a horribly campy, low-budget, sub-B horror movie that now serves as hilarious entertainment which can not be taken the least bit seriously.
