  ANTI- Album - Blood Money
Blood Money is a new collection of thirteen songs originally written and produced by Waits and longtime collaborator and wife Kathleen Brennan.
Blood Money careens from the brutal to the tender with assaulting rhythms and romantic melodies.
Blood Money is based on the socio/political play "Woyzeck," originally written by a young German poet Georg Buchner as a spare, cinematic piece in 1837 and inspired by the true story of a German soldier who was driven mad by bizarre army medical experiments and infidelity, which led him to murder his lover.

You won’t be surprised to discover that Blood Money is a shoot-em-up with hordes of aliens drooling for lead and plenty of bolt-on weapons to assist the blasting.
Blood Money claims to have allotted a megabyte for the graphics and 250K for the sound, but whilst there are some well animated aliens — the jellyfish are particularly good — and a Dave Whittaker soundtrack, it fails to leave any lasting impression.
Money makes the world go around, and 25 quid is a fair sum to pay for a shoot-'em-up, but Blood Money is well worth it.

 Hitman: Blood Money Review
Blood Money remains fundamentally the same as its predecessors, challenging players to perform hits on designated targets throughout North America.
Blood Money also finds 47 after he's been down the gym, with a number of new manoeuvres such as vaulting over small obstacles, jumping between ledges and close-quarter combat techniques.
Although it's about time 47 learned how to use the environment a little more usefully, the implementation in Blood Money is a little hit-and-miss, and perhaps isn't used as much as it could have been.

Blood Money is up there with Waits's best albums from the mid-'80s, veering as it does from sexy insomniac circus music to gorgeously heart-tugging lullabies to woozy zigzag bluesy romps to what can only be described as Oscar the Grouch singing out of tune on top of the soundtrack to an old French film.
Blood Money's 13 songs were cowritten by Tom Waits and longtime collaborator and wife Kathleen Brennan for a Robert Wilson production of Georg Büchner's unfinished, protomodernist 1837 play, Woyzeck, about a Kafkaesque German soldier who goes crazy after doing medical experiments for money and kills his girlfriend after witnessing a perceived infidelity.
Blood Money uses the same template and players as Alice (released at the same time) and first saw life as an opera production by Robert Wilson.

Released simultaneously with Alice, a recording of songs written in 1990, Blood Money is a set of 13 songs written by Waits and Kathleen Brennan in collaboration with dramatist Robert Wilson.
Musically, however, Blood Money is a far more elegant, stylish, and nuanced work than the earlier recording.
In all, Blood Money, like its sister, Alice, is a record steeped in musical and lyrical traditions barely remembered by popular culture and hence very rarely evoked (from carnival marches to tarantellas, primitive tangos, and early 20th century jazz).
