Topic: BloodRayne (film)

BloodRayne - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
BloodRayne, developed by Terminal Reality, is a franchise of two horror-themed third-person action video games (with at least a third on the way), a movie and a series of self-contained comic books.
Both Bloodrayne and Svetlana may have been inspired by the character of Durham Red from the comic book 2000 AD (comic).
The film is directed by Uwe Boll, who is responsible for two other video-game to movie adaptations House of the Dead and Alone in the Dark which were ill-received by critics.

IGN: Uwe Boll Interview: Part One
We are very violent and open in our erotic scenes… After her, it was by accident that Ben Kingsley basically said yes, because he'd always wanted to play a vampire, so we gave an offer out to his agency and, to be honest, I thought he would refuse it.
Michelle Rodriguez, we came in with the offer at the right time, because she was a little tired of all those action movies she did where she played the tough, the bad-ass tough girl.
So it was easy to get these name actors for this kind of film, because normally in a movie, the smaller scenes are, let's say a little cheap or shittily written in a way that you have a flat character, but these were all like gala appearances, they were really, really good parts.
