Desktop Pipeline | How-To | Review: Bloomba Professional Edition   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-21)
Bloomba Professional Edition uses Stata Labs SAProxy spam filtering, which is good but doesn't seem to me to be as good as the protection offered by Outlook 2003, or by Cloudmark which I use on a system running Outlook XP.
The rules filtering that Bloomba Professional Edition provides you with is at least as good as Outlook's, and even allows you to dispose of outbound mail by moving it to a designated folder..
But Bloomba Professional Edition doesn't move the current e-mail pointer when new messages arrive which means you have to manually tap the up-arrow key or pull the scroll bar pointer to see what is in any new e-mail.
