The songs we recorded today were "She Makes Me", "Unmet", "Big Mountain", which were all "keepers" and we tried "Throw A Match" (an instrumental number) on 3 different guitars and finally settled on a nylon string as the good sound but I must practice it tonight to do a good job tomorrow.
The song was a rather ambitous one with 3 or 4 different sections ect.
The second part (or song) we decided to not record but that is cool as we are trying to keep to a kind of theme for this CD.

Blue Room Hero’s sound seems slightly dated, as if the band time-warped to the present from the height of the ‘90s alternative-rock craze.
The song tells the tale of a five kids whose mother only loves one of them, adding a darker undercurrent to the band’s cheerful, catchy sound.
In Blue Room Hero’s case, the lead guitar just clashes with the well-groomed, professional sound of the acoustic guitar, bass and drums.

Almost every song was new, and all of it was simultaneously unnerving and miraculous, like watching an animal go from birth to death in the span of one 10-minute song.
Live at the Blue Room is nothing like this, and the reason is simple: there are no jammed bodies, no sticky floors, no sweat.
Live at the Blue Room suffers and thrives because of its parameters: all of these songs were recorded over the last two years at the Blue Room, a theater in Chico, California that has become increasingly popular with touring indie acts since it opened in 1993.

I should note that this song is "based on" some of my personal experiences in roughly the same sense that a major Hollywood movie is "based on" a novel or real-life events.

The EP starts off with its strongest song, "Bigger Stronger", which has all the elements of why "Parachutes" would be the best "new" album of 2001 (it was released in Nov. 2000): great melody, smart lyrics, and that hard to resist lead vocal.
Track 2 is "Don't Panic", which is also featured on "Parachutes", but here on the EP in a different, cleary earlier version: the intro is a fascinating mumble of guitars, which is not found on the album (where it is the lead off track); it also comes in a different guitar orchestration.
The first of the two real highlights is the next song, which is entitled 'See You Soon'.
