Large bluecat don't get large by being bold and unafraid of anything in their environment so this lets us know we have to fish as close to structure as we possibly can.
The thing about buffalo though is it's a treat for me to catch one as I don't catch them that often in keystone because usually I'll get a carp before I'll get a buffalo and carp doesn't seem to work nearly as well as the buffalo even though they're a similar species of fish.
I think the bluecat's taste evolves as they get bigger and they'll feed more on large species than their food they eat in the range of 3 to 10 lbs...

The BlueCats long-awaited return to Roberts Stadium comes four weeks after their home opener on March 25th and is the only home game scheduled for Evansville during the month of April.
Last season, the BlueCats and Horsemen split their regular season series with each team winning at home, before Lexington escaped with a 5 point victory in the post-season match up between the two teams when they met in Round One of the inaugural UIF playoffs at Rupp Arena.
Evansville defeated the Horsemen to remain undefeated and move into first place in the division, while beating a Lexington team who was coming off the national championship from the season before, and had a 10 game winning streak dating back to the previous year.

Tennessee Valley dropped to 2-5 on the United Indoor Football season and lost for the second time at Evansville, which improved to 5-2 and continues to lead the South Division.
The Bluecats led it 3-0 after an early field goal and went ahead 9-0 on Robinson's 30-yard touchdown pass to Byron Curtis at the 7:27 mark.
Lee's 34-yard field goal finally got the Raptors on the scoreboard early in the second quarter, but Evansville answered with another field goal and a 23-yard scoring pass from Robinson to Bennett for a 19-3 advantage with 4:32 left before intermission.

The past week, Chuck Gay and his father, Bill, landed 11 citation blue catfish from 27 to 42 pounds; Todd Lewis, his mother, Bonnie, and Kathy Keefer caught 10 citation bluecats, five of which were between 42 and 52 pounds.
Bluecats are excellent from Buoy 12 to mouths of rivers with flatheads being found from Clarksville up into rivers.

The BlueCats fought back once again to take the lead 27-26 when Jason VanLoo and Algie Atkinson met at the quarterback in the Evansville endzone in the third quarter for a safety that put the Riders up 28-26.
