Bluegrass Community and Technical College, formerly known as Lexington Community College, is a community college located next the University of Kentucky campus, in the shadow of Commonwealth Stadium.
BCTC students are still very connected to UK, depending upon it for parking passes, ID cards, as well as having access to residence halls and student tickets for athletic events.
BCTC offers two-and-four year programs, with many students opting for the two-year route to work their way back toward a four-year university such as UK or another.
