The Foundation seeks to provide financial support and mentoring for those students who have shown the aptitude and commitment to their education, but whose families may not have the resources to ensure completion of their undergraduate degrees.
While the goal of the Foundation is to grow to be national in its reach, the initial focus is on students in distressed areas of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Camden, New Jersey; and the Delaware Valley.
With the formation of the Blues Babe Foundation, she is able to further manifest her long-term commitment to education and enrichment.

The Blues Foundation has set the 2007 Blues Music Awards for Thursday May 10, 2007 at the Memphis Cook Convention Center in downtown Memphis, Tennessee.
The 2006 Blues Music Awards were also sponsored by BMI, FedEx, the Greater Memphis Arts Council, Memphis Convention and Visitors Bureau, Blues Revue, Sierra Nevada Brewing Company and the Stanford Group Company.

PNC and the PNC Foundation have long histories of strengthening and enriching the lives of our neighbors in communities in which we live and work.
Funded by foundation and corporate contributions, the FCS Scholarship pays childcare tuition for infants through pre-school aged children for up to 36 weeks during the student's academic year.
The student must have earned at least a 2.5 GPA in her previous school year or a B+ average in her last year of high school to be eligible.
