A critical analysis of the research and study of farm stress and coping is offered from a multidisciplinary approach, taking into account the many problems that are affecting farm life and some of the unique characteristics of farm families.
In May 1996, CPRC organized a workshop at the University of Regina that brought together 25 agencies, institutions, and industries interested in furthering the development of a Saskatchewan encyclopedia as a contribution to Saskatchewan's centennial in 2005.
Over the next nine years, an experienced publications management team and editorial board consisting of distinguished academics and government representatives produced, with contributions from more than 800 writers, an 1,100-page, single hard-cover volume which was launched on September 8, 2005.

Those slips of paper offer a very efficient way to gather that information; as the developers of the Ambient Orb would put it, they make the information a "glanceable thing." When a plane passes from one controller's screen to another, the paper is handed off-- an act that reinforces the transfer of responsibility.
And the paper also makes it easier for supervisors to see if someone is overloaded, and to transfer some of their planes to someone else-- by taking a few slips of paper and moving them to someone else's desk.
Overall, for scholars interested in sources that get them closer to fine grain of the history of ideas and practices, or for scholars interested in studying scientific communication in its own right, this seems like a natural field to try to exploit.
