The Blue Moon Cafe Opens Once Upon A Blue Moon
It's a song -- whether the traditional ballad or the ``bob-bob-a-bob-a-bob-a-bob-bob'' version of same.
A blue moon has nothing to do with the color blue, although volcanic eruptions may lend a bluish cast to the lunar landscape; and the phenomenon of two full moons in a month is really not tremendously rare -- astronomically speaking.
Paul Johnson says that there is no long story behind how he and Wendy decided to call their restaurant the Blue Moon; but they are both fascinated with the moon and its lore.

Bob Nolan’s daughter, Bobbie Mileusnich, said that she had no idea what inspired Bob to write that clearly Christian oriented song.
But surprisingly, he wrote a song about the crucified Jesus that pulls together the crucifixion and the traditional symbol of the lighthouse, such as we hear in the old song “Let the Lower Lights Be Burning.” Bob’s song is titled “The Lighthouse of the Lord,” and its lyrics read:
But she said, “You know Bob’s negative attitude was toward organized religion.” And history has been filled with people who have been attracted to Jesus and inspired by his death, but repelled by the institution that claims Jesus’ name.

Urban Legends Reference Pages: Music (Blowin' in the Wind)
Bob Dylan stole the song "Blowin' in the Wind" from a New Jersey high school student.
At a rehearsal a few months later, Wyatt played and sang for his fellow Millburnaires a song he claimed he'd written, called "Blowin' in the Wind." The group played "Blowin' in the Wind" for a school assembly just before Thanksgiving, where it was introduced as a song Wyatt had written.
Svedburg brought up an old story that a high school student named Lorre Wyatt had written "Blowin' in the Wind" and sold it to Dylan for a thousand dollars and, while carefully avoiding saying Wyatt had written the song, she managed to sow a large seed of doubt by implication.

DAISLEY: I just did a blues album, and the band is called The Hoochie Coochie Men, after the old Muddy Waters song, although that song is not on the album.
DAISLEY: I really don’t know, but I would have to imagine that he would have to give his consent at the end of the day and I would imagine that he would have to be in there, in the studio, for some of it.

HYBRIDMAGAZINE.COM REVIEWS Bob Schneider - Lonelyland
Schneider quickly recovers with “The World Exploded into Love,” and “Moon Song.” These tracks lets you know there is still some happiness in his sometimes-gloomy beats and narratives.
It is wonderful lyrically, and Schneider succeeds in the song’s requirement of strong vocals to uphold the harmony.
Although this maybe a song that Schneider’s is letting loose and having some fun with, it doesn’t help the flow of the album, and just unpleasant to listen too.

Songs boasts enough of the recognisable from Marley's canon to address the hit seeker, but the set also reaches way, way back to include Marley's first single, the youthful "Judge Not" from 1962, and then closes more than four hours later with a 1980 live take of "Redemption Song" from his last concert.
