Bell’s flair for comedic character acting surfaced in 1953 when he was paired with variety/talk show host Wally Phillips at WLWT-TV and WLW Radio in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Bob, Don Sandburg as Sandy the Tramp, Ray Rayner as Oliver O. Oliver, Roy Brown as Cooky the Cook, Marshall Brodien as Wizzo the Wizard, and Frazier Thomas.
"Bob Bell" is also the stage name of Nashville, Tennessee broadcaster Robert Bellar, who has intermittently hosted a sports talk show on clear channel radio station WLAC in Nashville, and served as a television sportscaster and commercial announcer.

Bells were first cast in the United States in the late 1700's, and by the mid-19th century hundreds of foundries were producing bells.
The bell was acquired by the St. Martin Catholic Church in Tonet, Wisconsin, where it was repaired and used from 1896 until the church closed in the 1980's, when the bell sold at auction.
The biggest bell he's handled was a 61 inches behemoth weighing 4000 pounds that came out of a church in Chicago and sold to a businessman in Iowa.

Bob Bell leaving is very close but to me when the cast I had grown up with was no more it jumped with me. Maybe it's because I was 8 too and getting over Bozo but it was a huge part of my childhood.
Bob Bell and Ray Rayner were the flesh, the cartoons could have always reminded us of what those guys did to entertain both kids and adults.

Bell graduated with a doctorate in aeronautical engineering from Queens University in Belfast and joined McLaren in 1982 where he worked with John Barnard, Neil Oatley and Steve Nichols on a successful series of cars until 1989 when he was promoted to head the research and development department.
The project was shelved in 1996 and Bell moved to Benetton as chief aerodynamicist in 1997 and 1998 before being appointed head of research and development at Jordan in 1999, where he found himself working under Mike Gascoyne, a man who had previously worked for him at McLaren.
When Gascoyne moved on again, Bell decided to stay and was appointed technical director.
