Born on February 13th, 1950, Robert "Bob" Daisley was the rebellious sort, once kicked out of school for refusing to cut his hair.
In July of 2003 Daisley and Barnes convened in Florida to record a new studio album as Living Loud, a group fleshed out with Deep Purple guitarist Steve Morse, Uriah Heep drummer Lee Kerslake and Purple keyboardist Don Airey, the latter both old mates of Bobs from the Ozzy Osbourne daze (pun intended).
Daisley fostered distribution of Living Louds debut CD across the United States in January of 2006, to coincide with the DVD release of the bands 2004 debut live concert at Sydney Fox Studios in Australia.

Cosmik Debris Magazine Presents: Bob Daisley, August 2002
Bob Daisley was born in 1950 in Sydney, Australia, and at age 14 he discovered the bass.
Daisley was in LA at the end of that tour when he ran into Dick Middleton, whom he'd played with in Mungo Jerry, and Middleton just happened to be a friend of former Deep Purple guitarist, Ritchie Blackmore.
Daisley: Oh no, the band was called The Blizzard Of Ozz, and if you look at all the contracts that were drawn up, and all the letters of intent, all the accounting in the office of expenses, it's all down to something called The Blizzard Of Ozz, and that was not the album.

Bass Guitar Scales - Bass Scales In Tablature - Bob Daisley
Bob and I had discussed this during our last conversation, and had agreed that the best of songs require emotion, and adding feel, and a special touch.
Bob begins with a nice build up as entering the song intro, which then adds some very tasteful song fills throughout the modulation of this song.
I was extremely impressed by the choice of notes Bob had selected for the outro leading into the second verse which adds an "off-key center".

DAISLEY: I really don’t know, but I would have to imagine that he would have to give his consent at the end of the day and I would imagine that he would have to be in there, in the studio, for some of it.
DAISLEY: What happened was that I had already worked with a producer called Geoff Glixman when I was with Gary Moore, and so I knew Geoff and he knew me, and we knew what to expect from each other and I guess he liked my playing.
DAISLEY: Yeah, sometimes they will do that because it is like somebody is still in the band but somebody else played on it or is going on the road with them and I think that it is unfair because it is not a proper credit.

Bob Daisley has long been one of the preeminent bassists and songwriters in the rock world.
But thankfully 2003 was one of the busiest years in recent memory, and Bob Daisley spent much of it jetting between Australia, the US and the UK completing one project or another.
When The Fuze called Bob in Sydney this time, he had just celebrated a birthday – we talked to the birthday boy about his recent recordings with Jon Lord and the Hoochie Coochie Men; we got the lowdown on his new collaboration with members of Deep Purple, Uriah Heep and Jimmy Barnes, and much Moore.

Bob Daisley may not be a house-dad superstar like, say, Ozzy Osbourne, but many may be surprised to learn, due to somewhat ambiguous writing credits, that he penned many of Ozzy's most notorious lyrics (eg: those on the 'Blizzard Of Ozz' and 'Diary Of A Madman' albums).
Daisley's on the phone right now to promote Living Loud, a kind of concept project in which he decided to reclaim some of those songs by doing them his way; with a little help from his friends.
Daisley grew up in Australia before moving to London in the early seventies to pursue music.

With the addition of drummer Ansley Dunbar for their 3rd release, Fire On The Moon, bassist Bob Daisley, vocalist Joe Lynn Turner, and guitarist Jeff Watson have created a far heavier effort than their 2 previous releases, but with this said there’s no evidence that the band have forsaken song writing for the increased heaviness.

Review - THE HOOCHIE COOCHIE MEN
Daisley is a veteran of many famous bands, including but not limited to Mungo Jerry, Chicken Shack, Uriah Heep, Rainbow, Blizzard Of Ozz (Ozzy Osbourne's first post-Sabbath band, in which Daisley wrote all the lyrics and much of the music that Osbourne still takes credit for), and the Gary Moore Band.
While "24/7 Blues" is traditional, Daisley's "New Old Lady Blues" is smokin' blues rock and definitely the hottest tune on the album.
Electric blues fans, take note: you have to watch this band on your own, keep your own tabs, seek out your CDs, because if Bob Daisley's "labor of love" habit from his Mothers Army days are holding over, they may not be actively pushing this, and it is so worth having.
