Jerry Maguire - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Jerry Maguire is a film that tells the story of a professional sports agent, Jerry Maguire, whose crisis of faith leads him to write a memorandum that advocates better service, fewer clients, and less focus on the bottom line.
Jerry Maguire remains famous more than a decade on due to the extremely memorable quotes, largely attributed to Crowe, that have defined contemporary cinema.
The movie features a character, "Bob Sugar," who is based in large part on Drew Rosenhaus, one of the National Football League's most aggressive sports agents who is currently in the news for allegedly getting one of his main clients, Terrell Owens fired for making outlandish requests that the Philadelphia Eagles revise his contract mid-season.

Jerry Maguire Movie Review by Anthony Leong
Jerry Maguire (Tom Cruise) is a high-power sports agent under the employ of SMI, an industry leader.
Rod, despite the enticements of Bob Sugar, shows Jerry that loyalty does still exist, someone can be as good as their word, and that there is still a place for idealism in the cut-throat competitive world in which they find themselves.
However, in the tail end of that year, "Jerry Maguire" disproved this observation.

However, he also was panic-stricken about the rise of independents like Tony Windsor and Bob Katter in National Party territory and it certainly would have helped the party if Windsor had pursued another career.
