Legendary guitarist Link Wray, whose seminal instrumental work was an inestimable influence on generations of rock musicians, died on Nov. 5 at his home in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Wray’s passing at age 76 was revealed on Nov. 21 in a statement by his wife, Olive, and son, Oliver Christian.
Wray was considered by many as one of the spiritual fathers of rock ‘n’ roll—particularly its metal and punk subgenres—and was named in Guitar World magazine as one of the 100 greatest guitarists of all time.

 Metal Meet Forums - What can I do with my Helve Hammer now that I have it?
When I was in Robinson I was scared to death of Bob B's large helve, so I did not try to use it there.
I have heard from other users that the air drill has held up in their application, but I agree that the number of hours that one could expect out of a drill in this application is limited.
I like Bob's suggestion that I will need a rounded head, maybe like a ball peen hammer head, to get much shaping out of a light hammer.

Helve's have been around for years, mainly in the flsmith area although Wray posted some photos from early last century for some in a manufacturing plant that appeared to be doing sheetmetal.
Wray is the current 'inventor' of this idea and he refined it for sheetmetal.
Tom's plans are the only one's I know of but several folks have made their own from just looking at photos and reading the emails.
