Mario must befriend everything from flying Noko turtles to Bobombs if he wants to make it through the game.
Using the so-called "Nakama" (friend") command, Mario can summon one of his friends (well, they actually seem to jump out of his pocket) to lend him a helping hand in both the overworld and the battles.
If he calls his Bobomb friend, the walking bomb can easily blast the rock to bits and the path is clear.
First he is in the cave where the bone dinosoures live and second he is around the end.
Some of yoshi's (and Marios) enemies are:Bowser, baby bowser, boshi, magi koopa, goomba, all the kinds of koopa, some shyguys, bobomb, chomper, monkeys, and lakitu. Those are not all of them, there is a lot o enmies tha Yoshi has.
Incidently, I have since learned how he "dodged" my blue shell.
If you drop a bobomb behind you right before the blue shell hits, it won't hurt you.
I'm guessing it's because dropping a bomb grants you temporary invincibility so if someone runs into your bomb right when you drop it, the resulting explosion won't hurt you too.
Supposedly, in addition to who's pictured in the selection screen a few posts above, there will be 3 more characters: Toadette, Shy Guy, and Petey Piranha.
Shy Guy, now if only they would include a Snifit or a Bobomb.
Only Nintendo would develop an online game specifically designed to keep you from making friends online.

Would it reflect the stylistic hodgepodge that characterized his writing in the Scott Pilgrim series?
Would it resemble the boy-girl harmony laden punk rock of Scott's band Sex Bobomb (greatest name ever), or the 0.4 second spazz rock freakouts of rival band Crash and the Boys (who's eight-year-old drummer has more ADD than anyone in Canada)?
Predictably enough, 2005's Awkward Songz sounds exactly how you'd expect an album with that title to sound; each of its twelve tracks is a textbook exercise in well crafted, slightly depressed, incredibly catchy indiepop.
It should have street and track racing, motorcycles and cars, drag ralley and endurance racing, online play with pink slip and in-game credits betting, extremely customisable cars (both cosmetic and performance) with custom logo/paint, whatever generators.
Covers all bases; from NFS:U2 to GT A game featuring either a Boo or a Bobomb as the hero.
Every old school Mario Kart fan knows this was a great way to entertain others in the room and not to mention destroy a few friendships or two.
(Not speaking from prior experience there but I have heard a few stories.) Offering three different modes (Balloon Battle, Shine Thief, and Bobomb Blast), it definitely brings back some fond memories.
With the addition of LAN support, it's now possible to get 8 other people into the fray on separate televisions provided you have enough GameCubes and Double Dash disks to go around.
