Bobby Eaton (born Robert Lee Eaton), is a professional wrestler, famous for his days as one half of the Midnight Express.
Eaton returned to WCW and was taken in by Lord Steven Regal who tried to culture him and renamed him Earl Robert Eaton.
Although Bobby Eaton wrestled as a heel for most of his career, he is widely regarded as one of the nicest guys in the wrestling business.

Eaton is remembered by many more for his career after 1983 because the companies he worked for then were more high profile than the Gulas and Jarrett territories he mostly worked for prior to 1983.
Eaton pinned Flair after his Alabama jam leg drop to win the first fall, lost the second fall when he was counted out and then dropped the last fall to Flair and his figure four leg lock.
One of the casualties of Watts’ shenanigans was Bobby Eaton.

Once there, he formed a new version of the Midnight Express with Bobby Eaton with Jim Cornette as their manager.
At the request of Cornette, because his team of Eaton and Lane didn't have a program after their feud with The Road Warriors ended, convinced head booker Dusty Rhodes to give Condrey a second chance with Randy Rose and Dangerously in a "Midnight vs. Midnight" feud.
Condrey came back to team with Eaton in 2004 and, along with Stan Lane, they have been wrestling as the Midnight Express in the independents and feuding with the Rock 'N Roll Express and The Fantastics.

Originally from Huntsville AL, Eaton made his debut in 1976 and quickly established himself by winning the NWA Mid-American tag team titles with Lanny Poffo, the brother of Randy Savage and despised as the Genius during his WWE stint.
Eaton and Lane had memorable matches with the Fantastics Bobby Fulton and Tommy Rogers, the Road Warriors, the original Midnight Express Randy Rose and Condrey managed by Paul Heyman, then known as Paul E. Dangerously, and a host of others.
In the early 1990s, Eaton was in search of singles recognition and won the WCW television championship from Arn Anderson at Superbrawl I. Ironically, Anderson and Eaton became WCW tag team champions as members of Heyman's Dangerous Alliance which also included Ravishing Rick Rude, Larry Zbyszko and Madusa.

Bobby Eaton turned heel, by costing his partner, Dustin Rhodes, their match against Arn Anderson and ‘Stunning’ Steve Austin.
As the match went along, he let slip that Eaton was turning heel, and he kept pointing out how Eaton was behaving during the match, such as only tagging in a couple of times, executing one move, then immediately tagging out, and leaving a weary Rhodes to do all the work.
Eaton shook his head, brought Rhodes into the ring by his hair, and delivered a shoulderbreaker on the unsuspecting Rhodes.

Eaton captured a third NWA Mid-America title in December 1979, and a fourth in February 1980.
Eaton went on to capture the title five more times, taking the title from the likes of Sweet Brown Brown (Koko B. Ware) and Jacques Rougeau Jr.
- Eaton and Sweet Brown Sugar defeated defeated Gibson and Stan Lane in a tournament final on March 14, 1982 in Louisville, KY to capture the NWA/AWA Southern Tag Team title.
