A Home at the End of the World (2004)
As Bobby, the needy and unconditionally loving man-child who forms a family with his gay best friend and a bohemian older woman, Farrell has an emotional directness and spontaneity that's tremendously moving—and more than a little seductive, as it should be.
For Bobby is supposed to be one of those innately charismatic people unaware of their grip on others; a simple, tender-hearted soul whose extraordinary physical magnetism sometimes blinds others to the fact that he can't be alone.
When Bobby (Farrell) moves in with Jonathan and Clare, the three establish an intense and mercurial bond that redefines the notion of family—for better and worse.
