  06/14/2000: Media Advisory: Gary Graham Scheduled to be Executed
Gary Graham was convicted and sentenced to death for the capital murder of Bobby Lambert during the course of attempting to rob him in a grocery store parking lot in Houston, Texas on May 13, 1981.
Graham was arrested on May 20, 1981 when he was found naked and asleep in the apartment of Lisa Blackburn, a 57-year-old woman whom he had kidnapped, robbed, and raped prior to passing out in her bed.
Graham told her that they were going to finish what they started and ordered her to undress.

I have no information on Bobby, but in some of the books I've read they say that Brian Epstein approached various drummers around Liverpool about the job before Ringo was approached.

Graham was convicted and sentenced (2) to death by the questionable (3) identification of a single witness who saw the suspect for a "split second" (4) from a distance of approximately 35-44 feet.
Graham pled guilty to ten aggravated robberies, wherein he attempted to murder two victims, one was shot in the neck and the other in the leg.

Graham pled guilty to and was sentenced to 20-year concurrent prison sentences for 10 different aggravated robberies committed May 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, and 20, 1981.
Graham, who is also known as Shaka Sankofa, admits to 10 aggravated robberies during the week of the murder, including shooting and seriously wounding at least one victim.
She told the officer that "the photo of Gary Graham looked like the suspect [she] saw on the night of the offense except the complexion of the suspect [she] saw was darker and his face thinner." She said she could not say that the man in the photo was the suspect.
