		Bobby Whitlock is a session musician, best known for being a member of Derek and the Dominos.
		Whitlock began a friendship with Eric Clapton when Delaney and Bonnie and Friends toured with Clapton as their lead guitarist.
		Whitlock soon became part of Clapton's "Derek and the Dominoes" project, co-writing many of the songs and playing and singing on most of the album that became Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs (such as the lead vocal on his own "Thorn Tree in the Garden").

		Most of you would be forgiven for thinking Bobby Whitlock disappeared when he split from Derek And The Dominoes in early 1971.
		For a lot of people Clapton was the star in The Dominoes which is a tad unfair on Bobby Whitlock and maybe this album will see people looking back to his work with The Dominoes, I do hope so.
		This album, his first for a few years sees Whitlock in relaxed mood playing both guitar and keyboards on a selection of songs which wouldn't have seemed out of place on the Layla album, thirty years ago.
