Bochnia is the oldest one and most likely the misunderstanding is because Wieliczka is heavily marketed as a tourist attraction and has been open for public a lot longer.

The officials of Bochnia, Mayor Wojciech Cholewa (executive function) and Council President Jan Olszewski (legislative function) invited Roselle to their "Partnership Days" (Bochnia City Hall), which are held yearly to celebrate their Sister City Partnerships.
The city of Bochnia is a mix of historical architecture, communist utilitarianism and new growth.
Present were representatives from all Bochnia's Sister City partnerships, officials from Bochnia, members of the International Sister Cities Commission, residents of the town and the five member Roselle delegation-about 200 people in all.

In August 1940 she escaped from Krakow with her family to Bochnia and moved in with her sister Hinda in 48 Kazeczowska St. Later when her mother and the rest of her family moved into the same house the Rosenfeld family sought another location.
On the first aktion in ghetto Bochnia she was ordered to give her daughter for execution but her own life could have been spared.

The lack of information led me to believe that no research was done on ghetto Bochnia and this is why I decided to do my own research on the subject.
The numbers of holocaust survivors who knew about ghetto Bochnia was limited and I already knew of one survivor, B. Rosenfeld from Montreal.
During that time I managed to interview two survivors of ghetto Bochnia and they gave me valuable information on certain periods that were not covered in any other source.
