Bodie Olmos, 31, talked about the influences of his father and his Latino heritage as well as his developing movie career during a Friday visit to the Washington State University Tri-Cities campus.
Olmos appeared in the 1988 film, Stand and Deliver, in which his father starred, and more recently, he played the second leading role in the HBO movie, Walkout, which his father produced and appeared in.
Olmos, a graduate of UCLA's theater arts program, said by being a part of Walkout, he was able to connect with parts of his heritage that he missed out on the first time around.
