Eugeniusz Bodo (true name Bohdan Eugene Junod) (December 28, 1899 – October 7?, 1943) was a film director, producer and one of the most popular Polish actors of the inter-war period.
In 1931 Bodo became a co-founder of the "B.W.B." film studio and in 1933 he opened a private producers' company "Urania", named after his fathers' cinema in Łódź.
Bodo rented his Cafe and moved to Lwów, where he joined the Jazz-Tea band led by Henryk Wars.

The Hamlet of Bodo, Alberta (two following photos) is located near the southeastern part of M.D. No. 52 and has a population of approximately 30 people.
Private archeologists working at a dig near Bodo were impressed with what they discovered and say the find will likely be declared a “significant archeological site” by the Alberta government.
The archeologist, who has 13 years of formal training said that the Bodo site has the potential to be an “incredible interpretive centre” on par with the World Heritage site called Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump in southern Alberta or Wanuskewin Heritage Park (a national historic site) north of Saskatoon.

ON February 20, 1993, a memorandum of settlement was signed between the representatives of the All Bodo Students' Union and the Bodo People's Action Committee (ABSU-BPAC), which had led a sustained and often violent agitation for the creation of a separate state of 'Bodoland' comprising nearly one-third of Assam.
Such militant groups, whether they were inspired and created independently by the Bodo agitation leaders or with the encouragement of other agencies, have charted an independent path in a manner all too similar to the trajectory of other agitation groups and their armed wings in this region.
Again, in a manner all too familiar in the region, the splits and the atomisation of such structures, often manipulated by the agencies of the state by exploiting other sub-ethnic or religious divides with a view to encouraging mutual bloodletting, has resulted in their eventual consolidation, and not mutual destruction.
