While Boeing may expect to have the large blended-wing aircraft flying in ten years, it would be much safer to bet on existing technology than on paper planes.
Furthermore, the author mentions the blended-wing design by Boeing but doesn’t explain why he thinks it would be better to buy current aircraft models as opposed to leasing them and, possibly, waiting for the new-generation tankers.
