		Raczynski is a member of the Rephlex club, so there are a lot of similarities between his music and the weird, 808 and CGD frenzy of his lablemates.
		Despite the differences, however, the music on this, the second Bogdan release, is equally compelling as its predecessor.
		The big differences here are the vocals, which seem to be performed by an electronic baby (using filters and other plug-ins for effect, no doubt).

		After just picking up his Samurai Math Beats release a couple weeks back and hearing his contribution of a wack-out mix of Autechre to the recent Warp 10+3 Remixes 2CD set, I was on a mission to find his other album at some point in the near future.
		On the two releases that I have (which is I think everything he's released to this point), he tweaks and freaks the beat like really none other I've heard.
		Perhaps coinciding one for each letter of the English alphabet, Raczynski pumps out 26 tracks and over 70 minutes of wiggity-wack beats and other goofy nonsense on the disc.

		Gliding almost seamlessly from Scott's DJ set into the first stuttering beats (seamlessly stuttering; oxymoron?) of his live set Bogdan leant over his laptop with a menace matched only by the sonic assault that follows.
		I’m not sure when Scott became Bogdan as they seemed to blend into each other but what followed was quite an assault on the senses.
		Angry, loud and possibly illegal, this set could not have been more visceral if Bogdan had arrived on a horse and gutted the thing live on stage.

		If you've heard anything by Bogdan Raczynski, chances are that you won't be forgetting it anytime soon.
		While it definitely takes a more experimental route for the whole of the release, it also feels like just a bunch of sonic foolery as opposed to real tracks that engage.
		The final two tracks on the disc work intermittantly as well, but never really take hold, except for the squirrely ending of "Trance And Burn." If you're a big fan, it's something to seek out, otherwise wait up for his next full length or snag one of his earlier releases.

		Bogdan live is almost cacophonous, his music sounds as though it is performed on contact miked bins and sick instruments, full of feed back and disharmony, with Bogdan's trademark bass and something sounding like a chicken trying to bark everything at a zillion beats per minute, somehow, again it all sounds gorgeous.

		A few months later, they met up in New York and the song was born - with the working title "Embrace Fortress" - a sharp, upbeat version where Björk sings to hard beats and Bogdan muses about planets and space in the interlude.

		Tracks three, seven, and nine were mind-throttlingly awkward but in a quiet sort of way, and the LP was generally very melodic and nearly beatless, similar to Kid 606's P.S. I Love You but less accessible and more like Boards of Canada scoring Terry Gilliam's 12 Monkeys.
