		His family members said, Mir Asgar Ali, son of the late Zabed Ali Mir of village Gorgacha under Sherpur upazila of Bogra, was appointed teacher at Thanthania Nurul-Ala-Nur Madrasa in 1981.

		In the other accident, five persons were killed on the spot and 15 injured when a Rangpur-bound truck (Bogra-DA-11-0114) collided head-on with a Sonatola-bound minibus, Ecota Poribohan, at Digholkandi in Shibgonj upazila at about 6pm.
		Separate cases have been filed with Bogra Sadar and Shibgonj thanas.

		GOPALGANJ, Oct 10:–Huge fish ghers, ponds fish farms and dhighis have been flooded by recent devastating flood and heavy rainfall in five upazilas which are Gopalganj Sadar upazila, Muksudpur upazila, Kasians upazila, Kotalipara upazila and Tungipara upazila of Gopalganj district.
		Over 1,000 thatched houses were damaged while many trees uprooted in 10 districts of greater Rangpur, Dinajpur and Bogra during the period, unofficial sources said.
		It is learnt that the officials of the Agriculture Extenuation Department and Fishery Department, Gopalganj told the Bangladesh Observer Correspondent that the standing crops of the 5414.92 hectors of land were totally damaged 13,350 fish ghers including fish farms and ponds were flooded by recent devastating flood and rainfall and the farmers lost Tk.

	11 killed in road mishaps
		Police said, three persons were killed and five others injured following a head-on collision between a tempo and a truck at Gohail on Bogra-Natore highway under sadar upazila on Tuesday morning.
		In another accident, two school students Shapla, 7, daughter of Ahmed Hossain and Zakir, 6, son of Abdul Hakim of Rampur village under Kaharol upazila of Dinajpur district were killed at Rampur point on Dinajpur-Thakurgaon highway when a truck crushed them under the wheels.
		The deceased hailed from Biral upazila of Dinajpur district, police said.

	Bangladesh-Islamists Attack NGOs as Part of Jihad
		Another attack took place on the BRAC office in Kalai upazila sadar in Joypurhat district on February 13.
		They were shown arrested in five cases, including for murder, bomb attacks, and the robbery of various NGO offices in the four districts of Bogra, Gopalganj, Naogaon, and Sirajganj.
