Bohemia Township is a civil township of Ontonagon County in the U.S. state of Michigan.
In the township the population was spread out with 5.2% under the age of 18, 5.2% from 18 to 24, 24.7% from 25 to 44, 37.7% from 45 to 64, and 27.3% who were 65 years of age or older.
The median income for a household in the township was $31,875, and the median income for a family was $37,083.

In the midst of 19th century, thousands and thousands immigrants came from Bohemia, Moravia, and Silesia to the to the US seeking better economic and social conditions.
Location: Bohemia was on the banks of the Main (Middle) Concho River south of the road from San Angelo to Arden and on the old road from San Angelo to Sherwood in west central Tom Green County.
Bohemia soon had a general store, a school, at least one saloon, a livery stable, and a cemetery.

Working diligently on the grassroots level, a dedicated group of local riders have created a network of designated non-motorized trails, while working to promote the area as a destination for silent sports recreation for a number of years.
A cooperative effort between neighboring land owners including the State, Keweenaw County, Michigan Nature Association, the Ft. Wilkins Gardens and CFR Land, combined with the volunteer efforts have resulted in a network of over 20 miles of designated trails and include almost 17 miles of sweet singletrack.
Non-motorized trails for both mountain biking and hiking are on the top of the agenda on the township’s recreation plan and from a citizen’s advisory committees’ recommendations to the DNR in regards to over 8000 acres of state land on the tip of the Keweenaw.

Vaclav was born in Bohemia 9/28/1847, possibly near the village of Ostrevic, althought that information is uncertain; he died 10/26/1936 in Bridgeport, Michigan.
