 --[GetawaytoAfrica.com - Getaway magazine]--
In two three-hour game drives during our stay we saw a lone hyena, warthog, a herd of about 150 buffalo, bushbuck, bohor reedbuck, defassa waterbuck and plenty of Uganda kob (there are about 17 000 in the park).
Our most interesting sightings were bohor reedbuck, defassa waterbuck and Uganda kob, since these species are not found in Southern Africa.
The bohor reedbuck is slightly smaller than the southern species and has a brighter coat, while the defassa waterbuck differs from its southern relative, which has a white ring circling its rump, by having a broad white patch in the same area.
