It may be premature to be making such declarations so early in the year, but "Boiler Room" would be a strong candidate for being one of the top ten films of 2000.

That's because the writer/director of "Boiler Room" has simply taken Oliver Stone's far superior 1987 film, "Wall Street," along with bits of James Foley/David Mamet's "Glengarry Glen Ross" and fashioned a "new," or at least updated cautionary tale about sales and greed on Wall Street.
