North from Bolventor The walk we did on 11 Sep 02 was from one of our favourite start points for North Bodmin Moor, the car park near the disused church at Bolventor, where Jamaica Inn is situated, just across the main A30 dual carriageway from Plymouth. Bodmin Moor has a completely different feel to it from Dartmoor, it can still be hostile in certain conditions though.
