I have been doing some reading around the site about Bone Meal and at first I was under the impression that you can make a tea out of it to be used as a Nitrogen fert.
Blood meal is more soluble in water, it's ground up to a powder and the phosphorous is easier to break down and it dillutes easier.
bone meal is not water soluble, if you put it in with water it will just sit at the bottom, it's bone, blood will diffuse into the water.
