Bonfire is a German heavy metal band which formed originally in Ingolstadt in 1972 under the name Cacumen.
Bonfire has a unique history to them as currently there are two bands whom have held the name.
Against the band's better decisions, he was fired from the group in 1989 and Bonfire carried on as a quartet.

The music of this band is definitely not commercial sounding and may appeal to fans of early 70s rock or fans of female fronted rock, but the AOR/Melodic Hard Rock should keep their hands off this band.
The band is at their best on the melodic rockballads and the uptempo hardrocksongs, so they should focus on that part in the future.
Asher are another female fronted hard rock band from Ohio and are led by sexy red head singer Theresa Michaels who can hit one hell of a range when she wants to which makes Asher stand out from all the other female bands with say the exception of Haven.

 The Auburn High School Band - Band Camp
Band Camp continued at FDR with only one interruption (due to renovations at the park that year) from 1961 to 1996.
Band Camp rehearsals will be roughly from 8 am to 6 pm, and consist of music, sectional, and marching rehearsals, with Recreation and Vespers later in the evening.
Band Camp will close with the Senior Bonfire and sleepover at, fittingly, the CCC Camp of Chewacla State Park, a camp built by the programs of President Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Bonfire has rocked many big events, including a gig at Cleveland's Hard Rock Cafe for an AC/DC album release party in 2000.
The band also played pre-AC/DC concert parties dealing with 2000-2001's “Stiff Upper Lip Tour.” Cleveland rock station WMMS sponsored two shows at The Odeon Concert Club where fans could purchase AC/DC tickets before they went on sale to the public and rock with Bonfire as the nights went on.
This past year, Bonfire packed a local bar for a Bon Scott tribute night, and also played to a full house in Illinois for a St. Jude benefit show.

Today, the band flourishes with a total membership of around 45 musicians, whose ages start from 8 years old, right up to the oldest member who joined the band over 65 years ago.

The band borrows a lot from these bands, and also from the NWOBHM scene of the early 1980s, but nevertheless they do it very well and their new CD ‘Stand up and fight’ is definitely a very strong pure 80s Melodic Metal record.
The band managed to release 3 albums, of which ‘Kill to survive’ was their debut in 1988.
In that year the band released it’s debut, and strangely enough US radio picked up the band, and this lead to MTV video airplay of their songs, and eventually the first album ‘See you in hell’ climbed the US Billboard charts, which did not happen too often for a British Metalband.

The band was missing the regular (and exceptional bass player), but it was the most fun I've had on a Thursday night in a while.
Bonfire sent me back to when I was 8 years old and my uncle introduced me to AC/DC's High Voltage LP.
I have seen all phases of the band, and when you are on the floor watching the members of Bon Fire parade and swagger across the stage it is hard not to lose yourself in the "High Voltage Rock and Roll" that is AC/DC.
