The movie ommitted a serious car accident that caused severe burns to Bonnie's leg and plagued her for the last year of her life.
I doubt that Clyde would have been quite as broad-minded about race relations as the movie would have you believe, when he shakes hands with a fl farm-hand after allowing him to take a few shots at the repossessed farm house.
