		Starting with the four Lord Lebby tracks, "Dr Kinsey Report" and "Ethiopia" are already available on "Boogu Yagga Gal" and elsewhere, but "Sweet Jamaica" (especially) and "Mama No Want No Rice" are very welcome additions to any golden age mento fans CD collection.

		Six golden age Count Lasher sings are included on Boogu Yagga Gal, including the fine rural Slide Mongoose.
		Two of these 6 songs are found on "Rookumbine", two on "Dip and Fall Back" and one also appears on "Jamaica Mento - Authentic Recording", but of these three compilations, only Boogu Yagga Gal has lyrics and informative liner notes.

		Count Alert features twice on the Trojan Calypso box set, and I would be pretty willing to bet that this is the same vocalist.
		If you have the box set, check out tracks 11 on disc one (In the Park), and 8 on disc two (Hard Time), then if you have the Boogu Yagga Gal cd check out a few of his tracks here.
		I think you may agree with me that this is the same vocalist.

		There are few things I really like in life, few things I really think are worth while.
		If you check out this link, you will find "Calabash" [1.4 MB.wma file] by Count Lasher and Charlie-Binger's Six, from this 2001 Interstate Music Inc. compilation called Boogu Yagga Gal: Jamaican Mento.
		From the ample liner notes in the booklet that accompanies the CD, available at Amazon, you learn that Mento was an amalgam of English, African and Jamaican dance hall styles which started to meld before 1880, merged with US jazz and paralleled Trinidadian calypso.
