TV shows sometimes generate TV movies as spinoffs, or a TV movie is used as a "pilot" to sell a new series -- sometimes unsuccessfully.
Superman has had three live-action TV shows, which I think is a record (The Adventures of Superman, Lois and Clark, Smallville), and at least half a dozen animated serieses, many of them combining Superman with Batman or other DC characters.
Batman had the notorious Adam West TV series, in which two half-hour episodes aired each week, the first always ending with a cliffhanger where Batman and Robin would be tied to a giant waffle iron while the countdown ticked away on the fiendish plot to douse the whole city with Beatnik Gas.

The majority of the time the tv is on, it is on children's programming.
But, when I do watch tv, it is usually Survivor, CSI, House, shows of that nature, cooking and needlework shows, sports or nature shows.
I have zero tolerance for tv advertising and don't see the point of paying for high-end cable, so I only watch videos/DVDs, Independent Film Channel, Turner Classic Movies, occasionally PBS (which is mostly politically correct pablum crud) and BBC World News, which is the only show BBC America airs sans adverts.

Just by chance today at the library I grabbed 3 books with knit or crochet flower patterns: Vogue Knitting from Fall 2004 and Holiday 2004 both have patterns.
I love all of her designs, and since the poppies poster was sold out, I went for the Treelets book.

If I include books for Uni this is high, but uni books are variable.

Poirot visits the author and asks why she has chosen to write a book where Poirot dies.
The book was "Curtain," one of Christies best novels, even after a half dozen reads.
