The people are amazed at this but Jesus goes on the rebuke them, saying "I tell you the truth...no prophet is accepted in his hometown." (24) He tells them how in the time of Elijah only a woman from Sidon was saved, and during the time of Elisha a Syrian was healed.

Isiah was matched against the Bucks Quinn Buckner.  Buckner was former Indiana Hoosier by way of Chicago, Illinois just like Thomas.  Buckner was a very formidable defender for Isiah, but even he was no match as it took Isiah but nine seconds to score the game’s first basket.
Isiah’s 27 points through the first three quarters kept the game close.  In the fourth quarter Isiah provided some foreshadowing for the kind of clutch performances that Piston fans would be treated to for the next 13 seasons.  Isiah began to assert himself as the Piston’s floor general.
Isiah finished the game with 31 points and 11 assists in his 41 minutes of play, which drew praise all around for the guard that some said was too small to impact an NBA game.

Perhaps the oddest thing about this book is to be found near the end of the book in a section titled A Message Especially for White Readers.
If someone wants to write a book to help fl youth in some way, any way, I'd gladly encourage them, but that doesn't mean history has to be conveniently rewritten or that others have to be demonized in the process.

In light of your second insight regarding the tribalism of 7th century Arabia I found it to be interesting so I have purchased some books relating to this subject.
About the book Isiah, why is it that Isiah 37 and 2 kings 19 are exackly the same when book books were written centuries apart by different authors?
I think Isiah, a prophetic book is not the original Isiah for whatever reason.

However, the Book of Mormon is fictionous tale that is based on a unprinted manuscript of an author that I forgot the name of.
I agree completely that the book of Mormon is a collection of ficticious tales as there is no evidence of the ancient society of Semetic-Americans of which it speaks.
