It seems to be clear that Matthew incorporated almost the entire gospel of Mark in his narrative, although he condensed the accounts of the miracles, apparently for thematic reasons.
It has been argued that the Gospel of Matthew was likely written before AD 70, since Jesus predicts the destruction of Jerusalem in 24:2-23 and it would be odd that no mention of its fulfillment would appear in the book had it been written after this date.
The questions for the book of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John have been combined into one set of questions located at the end of the introduction to the book of John.
