 The Wisdom of Crowds
The paradox of the wisdom of crowds is that the best group decisions come from lots of independent individual decisions.
For instance, in the book I talk about the Columbia disaster, showing how NASA's failure to deal with the shuttle's problems stemmed, in part, from a failure to tap into knowledge and information that the people in the organization actually had.
And in a broader sense, I think the book suggests that the more diverse and free the flow of information in a society is, the better the decisions that society will reach.

Wisdom of Solomon, the - International Standard Bible Encyclopedia
In the Syriac (Peshitta) its title is "The Book of the Great Wisdom of Solomon." Solomon was among the Jews and the early Christians the patron of didactic, as David was of lyrical, and Moses of religious-legal, literature, and their names came to be associated with literary compositions with which they had nothing to do.
Solomon speaks in the first person in this book (The Wisdom of Solomon 6-9), as he does in Ecclesiastes 1:12, for that he is made the speaker until the close of The Wisdom of Solomon 9 is made certain by 7:1; 9:2.
In The Wisdom of Solomon 14:27, however, sin is made to have its root in idolatry, meaning perhaps that all sin consists in not giving-proper heed to the one true God, and that the moral monstrosities of his time were outgrowths of idolatrous worship.
