		The city of Borgholm is, and always has been, one of the smallest cities in Sweden and although its the main city of the Oelandia province it has a mere population of 3,280 (1996).
		Borgholms Castle has its modern counterpart outside Borgholm, since the Swedish Royal Family has its official summer residence at Solliden Palace a couple of kilometres outside the city.

		Petrobras has begun work on the Coari-Manaus gas pipeline which is to carry natural gas from the Urucu hydrocarbons province, located in the municipality of Coari (state of Amazonas), to the state capital, Manaus.
		The gas will be used largely to supply the thermoelectric power plants generating electricity to Manaus and the municipalities adjacent to the pipeline.
		A further 125 kilometers of lines will be built to transport the product to the main city in each one of the municipalities - Coari, Codajás, Anori, Anamã, Caapiranga, Manacapuru and Iranduba located along the course of the pipeline.
