It is imperative that we bring to your attention the importance of the BORN to your professional career—as well as the fact that actions taken by the BORN can lead to discipline and loss of your nursing license.
BORN staff have quite clearly stated and demonstrated to the MNA that the BORN's charge does not include an exploration of the culpability of anyone other than the targeted nurse.
It is the intention of the MNA to scrutinize BORN activities closely and to engage in whatever action might be called for to ensure more appropriate regulation of the practice of nursing in the commonwealth.

 MNA Seeks BORN Reform
According to the MNA Committee for BORN Reform, which held is first meeting on Sept. 30, 1999, these actions, clearly demonstrate the agency’s inability to fulfill its mission of protecting the public and fairly monitoring the practice of licensed nurses in the Commonwealth.
The decisions by the BORN not to pursue teh major sections of Barry Adams’ complaint has drawn widespread attention from nurses throughout the national nursing community to the issue of equal accountability of all licensed nurses, staff nurses, and nurse administrators in the current health care environment.
The BORN appears to aggressively discipline those who have little or no control over their practice environment while failing to discipline those nurses who have the overall responsibility for patient care and the practice environment, as in this case.

Newton's Birth Date and The Anni Mirabiles
It's usually said that Isaac Newton was born on Christmas Day, but there is some ambiguity in this because England was still using the "old" Julian calender at the time of Newton's birth, whereas the rest of Europe had adopted the "modern" Gregorian calender (later adopted by England and still in use today).
According to the modern calender, Newton was born on 4 January 1643, but according to the calender in force at the time and place of his birth, he was born on 25 December 1642.
Galileo died on 8 January 1642 (Gregorian) and Newton was born on 25 December 1642 (Julian).

Recommendations for Prevention and Control of Tuberculosis Among Foreign-Born Persons Report of the Working Group on ...
The priorities of TB control among the foreign born should be the same as those for control of TB among other U.S. populations -- completion of treatment by persons infected with active TB, contact tracing, and screening and provision of preventive therapy for groups at high risk.
National surveillance data for the decade that followed indicate that the number of TB cases among persons born in other countries increased from 4,925 in 1986 to 7,702 in 1997, and that the percentage of foreign-born cases increased from 22% to 39% of the national total.
The risk for disease among the foreign born also appears related to chronological age and age at immigration; younger persons and those who immigrated at younger ages are at lower risk for subsequent infection with TB.

 Born Sinful
Thus, it must be concluded that we are all born sinners, since we are all born human and sin is regarded as a property of humanity.
This proves that we are born that we, for if infants did not come into the world as sinners, it could not be true that all humans are wicked and that wickedness is a property of humanity.
The fact that we are born totally sinful should make it clear that all of the transformation that a Christian undergoes in becoming more and more holy and escaping more and more of the pollution is from God, and not ourselves.
