"Borrowed Heaven" features the Corrs using their Irish touch and sweet harmonies with a number of other musical influences in an invigorating collection of songs.
It's too bad "Borrowed Heaven" is getting ripped by critics because it deserves better, but since it's not "hip" or "cool" to like The Corrs I guess it too be expected.
To address a comment from "Dot Music," the reason this album sounds well written is because it is. "Borrowed Heaven" is a wonderfully diverse and textured album that manages to evolve the Corrs' sound without sacrificing their trademark harmonies and Celtic influences.

I say "memories" because "Borrowed Album", their fourth studio album, barely captures some of the magic of their first two albums.
The vocals haven't changed in the Borrowed Heaven version, but the sparse instrumentation has given way to the sounds of production that culminate in inane "la la las" cooed by Andrea that at first made me want to tear the ears off my head.
I first liked it a lot, mainly because it seemed so spiritual - the lyrics talk about how our bodies are borrowed from heaven.

It is really fantastic for corr fans across the globe that the 4 irish siblings have brought out Borrowed Heaven after a lengthy absence after concertrating on their personal lives.
The chorus sounds great and again Andrea uses her stunning voice effetively towards the end in particular.
This track is very lively and the vocals and lyrics which fit into the rythm perfectly.

I've been a fan of The Corrs ever since I heard "Only When I Sleep" from their album Talk On Corners.

That's what I thought after hearing Borrowed Heaven for the first time, most of the tracks are breathtaking, and it is definitely in line with Talk on Corners as their best album
Borrowed Heaven, featuring Ladysmith Black Mambazo, this track is very anthemic and quite breathtaking, although can get repetitive (9/10)
But judged on its own merit, 'Borrowed Heaven' stands up firm by itself as a well crafted pop-rock album.

Their latest CD Borrowed Heaven is stripped from everything that makes them stand out in a sea of lacklustre, nondescript adult contemporary pop acts.
The violins are muted, the pipes are silenced, and only Jim Corr, who has always been complaining that he's the left out member of the group, is happy as he gets to use the electric guitar all the time.
