| | Boss Hog (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-31) |
 | | Joined by an organ/keyboard player schooled in every '60s RandB cliché in the book, Boss Hog powered through a fast and furious 17-song set in, oh, a little over a half an hour, as well as a four-tune encore that added another 10 minutes or so to the tally. |
 | | Indeed, when Boss Hog ended their encore with "I Dig You," it was hard not to notice how remarkably unencumbered Martinez is by any tangible sort of musical talent: she can't sing, she doesn't dance or even move very well, and she don't play no instrument. |
 | | Yet to her credit, she comes off as self-aware, cognizant of her limitations, even surprised to be getting away with "fronting" a band on such flimsy musical grounds. |
