		The Bow River has a city and an international community full of adoring fans and intimate friends who have tales and stories of days spent adrift with fish emptying their reels, screaming away from its pursuer.
		There is no other river quite like the Bow: one would be hard pressed to think of anywhere else in the world that you can enjoy a gourmet meal in one of Calgary's many fine restaurants and within an hour be catching some of the finest and wildest trout available anywhere.
		Successful Bow River fly fishermen aren't closed~minded to new tricks or new methods; adaptability and willingness to change will see dramatically different results: when the fish are rising it is dry flies; when they aren't it's time to chose from an accepted set of nymphs or streamers chosen by guides from their years of experience.

	Bow Back Rivers - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Bow Back Rivers are part of the River Lee in London and form a complex system of waterways.
		Bow Creek, and the connecting waterways, Prescott Channel, Channelsea River, Abbey Creek, Three Mills River, City Mill River and Waterworks River are all tidal but St. Thomas Creek and the Old River Lee are not (being maintained at the same level as the Limehouse Cut).
		Also in the area and crossing the Back Rivers by a series of bridges is the Northern Outfall Sewer.

		Prescott Sluice use to be at the southern end of the channel, next to its junction with Abbey Creek, and was the sluice that controlled the waters that fed the tide mills.
